London Wicked Finds Its New Elphaba

Alexia Khadime, who currently plays Nala in Disney's The Lion King, will be the latest actress to don green make-up in the London production of Wicked at the Apollo Victoria Theatre.

Khadime will succeed Kerry Ellis in the role of the misunderstood Elphaba beginning June 9 and will stay with the production through Nov. 29.

Los Angeles Wicked Will Close in January 2009

The Los Angeles production of Wicked will play its final performance at the Pantages Theatre Jan. 11, 2009. When it closes, the production of the hit Stephen Schwartz-Winnie Holzman musical will have played 791 performances and 12 previews.
