xerographic toners and washing machines

...are lovely convenient things to change and replace until someone unnamed in the office leaves the large format copier with no toner and your local 'fixit' (aka me) is called in to replace the toner.
Only to see that the toner has been pulled apart in attempts to remove it from the machine.
Xerographic toners are really large powder tubes. The powder sticks. And spreads. And is very messy. Wash your hands in cold water please.
Vis-a-vis, the current six hand prints that somehow got smudged across the khakis, the shirt, and the surface of the tables. :(
