I'm not certain why I'm not more pleased... but I'm right chuffed that beyond having booked my flight plans going in and out of London (Gatwick), I've now plunked for tickets for the Cadogan Hall's Sondheim revue (Good Thing Going) with Maria Friedman and Daniel Evans. :)

Of course, I know where I'm staying the first night I'm in the UK (8/4) and I know where I'll be on 8/11... but the in-between stuff is looking like Paris from 8/5 to 8/8, Brussels on 8/9, Amsterdam-Newcastle on 8/10, and back to London for 8/11. After that Saturday, it'll be venturing west to both the standing stones, as well as maybe Wales. [Glastonbury, Bath, Cardiff, Wales]

I need to try to slot in time to visit the West End and other standard touristy bits.

Most of the travel will be by rail (Yes, I'm picking up one of them Britrail passes), both in the UK, as well as on the Continent. I'm debating whether I'll follow Tintin around in a walking tour-concept of Brussels... the luggage might be a bit weighted down with Tintin novels by the end... ;)
