The Voice of Musical Theatre (2006)

Due to something or other, I'm still not asleep, and even the not-so-exciting-to-watch Legally Blonde 2 did nothing to send me nodding. Instead, I did reload the 2006 BBC Competition: The Voice of Musical Theatre semi- and finale audios.

In it, you can hear Lucy Durack sing songs from Wicked, and if the current scuttlebutt for Oz!Wicked casting is to be believed... she's a possibility for Glinda. :)

A competition where Wicked songs and Wild Party songs competed on the same stage :)

Is He Dead? A New Comedy - 2007.12.22 (evening)

The discovery of Mark Twain's Is He Dead? marks the return of Norbert Leo Butz to the Broadway stage, this time in a play. Leading an ensemble cast including: Jenn Gambatese, Byron Jennings, Michael McGrath, David Pittu, and John McMartin, Butz turns the notions of death and gender upside down and inside out.
