The limited engagement of two seminal Edward Albee one-act plays — The American Dream and The Sandbox — has been extended at Off-Broadway's Cherry Lane Theatre.
The production, which officially opened April 1, was originally scheduled to end its run April 19. Due to "overwhelming critical accolades as well as audience response," the Off-Broadway production will now play through May 17.
