Balanced against an arched moment, where a held breath leaves the room in silence.
Every muscle strains to flex and hold a position never meant for long.
The show of white as a slight grin disrupts the look of concentration.
Each slow shuffle forward heightens the tension as the dance steps waltz across a precipice unseen.
Carefully edging under a line where the least of errors would see a wall of silence come falling down, followed by the clamor of derision and laughter.
With measured pacing and shallow breaths, all thought is turned inward until the line is crossed.
