LOTR once more...

I'm a bit baffled at how on Earth this is going...to encourage pre-view audiences to come back.

This creates even less incentive to go back and see the show at the proverbial (get the 125$ seats for 75$) when I can just really wait and get even cheaper tickets.

*frowns*

*stabbity-stabs the headache* I'm pretty much believing that I'm better off tossing money at tickets for Spamalot when it plays here, and definitely for Wicked when the Tour comes back.

On Friday it is the eightieth birthday of Her Majesty, Elizabeth the Second, by the Grace of God, of the United Kingdom, Canada and Her other Realms and Territories Queen, Head of the Commonwealth, Defender of the Faith.

I'll probably observe it with a toast, and a nod. For all of my lifetime, she's been my Queen, inasmuch as any eventual succession will see the Princes Charles or William as the King, but she will always be my Queen, and the representative of the British Monarchy.

I'll have one Queen in my lifetime, and one Pope. That's enough bowing and genuflecting for me. :)
