Assembling the mumblings into a post:
The Autumnal Fic Challenge/Ficathon [UnNamed event]
No restrictions on fandom - whether it's something that I have (or have not) read from (fic-wise). The most amusing scenarios would simply have me doing lots of research on the fandom prior to anything else. ;)
No restrictions on length - drabbles, onehsots, longer fics, diatribes against the world I mean, epicfic. No restriction. ;) Write and take as many words as you need/want/feel like using. :)
A theme if one requires a theme: giving thanks. The general deadline would be December 10, 2006 -- just after the US Thanksgiving frenzy. ;)
In return, I'll take up the challenge of matching word counts, and the pairing that has been written with a series of poems. It'll never be epic poetry, but a series of pieces that'll combine to fit the overall count and so forth.
I need to sort out another post that'll allow for anon.e.mice posting. :)
