A Little Night Music
Apr. 10th, 2008 11:36 amPerpetual anticipation is good for the soul but it's bad for the heart...
Sondheim as the Waltz King... his most famous piece for 3/4 time - A Little Night Music. I found a copy of The 1996 (London) Royal National Theatre recording with Dame Judi Dench so I'm more than pleased to be able to share it (along with some other recordings of A Little Night Music) with all y'all. :)
ETA: *sigh* One of my favourite scenes: A Weekend in the Country isn't in the 1996 RNT recording (wasn't part of the original file)... and since I've got four versions of ALNM playing, I didn't notice the lack... my bad and my apologies.
ETA 2: Aha! http://www.sendspace.com/file/6ks68l (12 A Weekend in the Country) I will be revising the file and create a new link (which also includes Dench's CD cover)
