Travel: Day 4
Sep. 9th, 2008 12:27 amFinally ended a day of driving at Yellowstone Park (Northwest entrance side), with stops in Great Falls, MT (picked up a Rolling Stone Magazine), Helena, MT (fuel stop plus Costco) -- a whole roll of US forever stamps, magazines, and a book, and then onto route 90 through to Belgrade, Bozeman, and Livingston, with 89 through Gardiner.
No photos taken today, didn't check into this hotel until 9PM, and who wants to see pictures of blackness? Not I.

Calgary: Day 3
Sep. 7th, 2008 09:56 amFirst wedding yesterday - lots of fun and ceremony (an RC wedding), followed by an afternoon of photos at the reception venue. The bride looked radiant, and the groom was dashing. I took 500+ photos and didn't leave until 11.30PM to try and find my way back in the dark in Calgary's oh-so-well-lit roads...
The travel plans are in more flux than even some Star Trek ship's warp core going nova. :/ There's potential for not going to Jasper, and instead, bringing more relatives along to Edmonton. O+o; See that expression? A lopsided look? That's been on my face since I heard about this change last night. I've simply gone forward to cancel all my hotel reservations from Wednesday onwards because I can't tell where I'll be. :/ Rack rates now O+o;
Another wedding reception this evening, I'm not sure what the plans are for the day, although I should look at getting a set of AA batteries for both the flash and the other/new digital camera. Maybe a stop at Staples.

Sep. 6th, 2008 09:01 amAlthough a day late, I'm now out west - and still keeping Eastern time... which means that I'm not sure if it's the jetlag, time difference, or overall fatigue that makes me duller than proverbial paint drying by 11PM (MST).
Wedding today, while the relatives are slated to go out to Banff today. The weather here is much cooler than Toronto, which means that the leather jacket is getting more use than anticipated.
Things seen yesterday - Calgary downtown, Calgary chinatown (what little there may be), a T&T supermarket.
