So.
Liza Minnelli was at the Roy Thomson Hall last night and it was an energetic almost-two hour show with her, Billy Stritch and her band. I'd recognized her signature songs (from Cabaret, Chicago, and Liza with a Z) and it was a lot of fun. As usual, the demographics skewed towards Toronto's traditional arts-going community which seemed to read very-Caucasian, older, and properly dressed for a night out (sharp and not sloppily which is what I've seen for other theatre-occasions -- jeans with tears? sweatshirts? t-shirts with strategic holes?).
Much fun was had, and my thanks to J. for the great seats. :)
Depending on whether I can actually figure out the song titles soon enough, whatever souvenirs are to be had might be posted over this upcoming holiday.
