Espinosa Will Sing Mitchell, Sondheim and Schwartz at Joe's Pub; Thompson Is Special Guest

As previously announced, Eden Espinosa, whose Broadway credits include Rent, Brooklyn and Wicked, will perform in concert at Joe's Pub March 22-24.

Espinosa's special guest for her concerts — entitled Eden Espinosa — Me — will be Katie Thompson, the singer-songwriter who will be seen in the new Michael John LaChiusa musical Giant this spring at the Signature Theatre in Virginia.

Burns, Creel, Parrish, Murney, Urie and More Set for Upright Cabaret's East Coast Debut at Joe's Pub

A host of theatre favorites will be part of Upright Cabaret's upcoming East Coast debut at Joe's Pub.

The Jan. 11 concert will mark the first time Upright Cabaret — the L.A.-based cabaret series created by producers/hosts Chris Isaacson and Shane Scheel — will play a Manhattan venue. Show time at the intimate theatre located within the Public Theater is 11 PM.

Among those currently scheduled to perform at the one-night-only event are The Broadway Boys, Andrea Burns, Gavin Creel, Spencer Day, Tim Draxl, Audra Mae, Patina Miller, Julia Murney, Hunter Parrish, Valarie Pettiford, Jessica Phillips, Marni Raab, Julie Reiber, Ken Robinson, Katie Thompson, Michael Urie and Rema Webb.

Dandridge, McGinnis, Manolakos and Trimm Join Line-Up for Composer Alan's CD Celebration

Additional artists have been announced for the upcoming evening at Birdland that will celebrate the release of composer Scott Alan's new CD, "Keys."

Newly announced for the the Jan. 12, 2009, concert — which will feature tunes from "Keys" as well as selections from Alan's debut solo recording, "Dreaming Wide Awake" — are Merle Dandridge, Crystal Monee Hall, Megan McGinnis, Carrie Manolakos, Patti Murin and 13's Allie Trimm.
